DESIGN (WEEK 2)
During this week, I have do more researched about thermal electric cooler (TEC) function and how to install the wiring circuit of TEC correctly. Picture below is component that I used for my fridge. It is look like a simple installation but difficult actually. I have used battery 12V, cooler fan, heat sink 6" and the most important component is TEC for my project.

BRIEFING (WEEK 1)
Attending the FYP briefing at Gemilang Hall. The committee states and reprimanded about the deadlines and do and not to do list. There been some of additional rules like to use blog instead of log book to update the progress in doing the project. In this week also, I meet my supervisor to discuss about my project and the requirement that been setup for my project.

CONCLUSION (WEEK 12)
CONCLUSION
A
portable mini fridge prototype was designed and built which can be used for
personal cooling. Three TECs were used for achieving the cooling with a DC
power supply. A conventional axial fan of 35W was used to blow the air to the cooling
module. It had been shown from testing results that the portable mini fridge is
capable of cooling the can. Portable mini fridge designed was able to cool an
ambient air temperature from 30 °C to 22.8°C . Cooling stabilizes within one
hour once the switch is turned ON. The system can attain a temperature
difference of set target which was °C .Accomplishing the set target establish
the success of the project. A portable mini fridge just used
battery to make it
function. But it was back up by DC power supply to switch ON. Most of the items
selected in the project were compromised on budget .A total of around RM600 was
spend for the entire project development which includes the electrical,
electronics & mechanical sections. A cost analysis segment is attached in Appendix
E. All the components in the project had been tested individually and the
results were found to be positive. This was the ultimate result of many a month’s
hard work.
